"I regularly passed the restaurant which is close to my home and I always told myself I should try it out and now I wish I had tried sooner. The restaurant was busy but that didn’t detract from the service or the quality of the food. It is not haute cuisine that is served up but good simple dishes with a bias towards traditional Swiss cuisine. Not 5* but for quality and atmosphere I thought it ticked all the right boxes."

"To meet a few friends and celebrate a birthday, I had reserved a special relatively spacious round table for 5 people at the border of the lawn with the manager of the Buvette, 5 days in advance. This to keep a certain safe distance between two of us at a high risk for COVID-19, and my daughter, who is exposed to her work. When we arrived, this table had been promised to another group who had drinks in the lounge area, this is perhaps the way to get a good table... and we got a small table in the middle of the terrace, despite my protests, from the same manager I had reserved the special round table. He did not understand my point of keeping a safe distance between the 5 of us, told me that my argumentation does not make sense that I am an educated infectologist, but promised us free coffee as compensation for this disappointment, coffee, which was anyway billed. At this point, I didn't feel like starting a new argument with the manager. The spaghetti Bolognese were not good at all, but the filets de Perche o.k. and the desserts were good. The young waiters delivered a good service, but some of them took off their masks at the end of the service. I was very disappointed by the manager's behaviour and will not go back to the restaurant soon, my friends and family neither."
