"We decided to give Big Belly a try; It's said to be Nepali and Asian. Our order was filled, a small serve of goat curry, some noodles and fried rice, with roti (fried bread). It was not bad food, but rather disappointing. Most things are not bad, except for the fried rice, which was .mediocre. We had a glass of red wine and a glass of white wine each between us; both were tolerable. The small dish of goat curry was tasty, but didn't go far between two people. We liked the dessert. The restaurant was almost full, but there was only one waitress on duty to cope with the full house. I could only rate this restaurant as average; it's been open around six months. We are unlikely to return."

"Had a good vegetable curry here, very filling but worth every mouthful. <br/ The momos were great too for entree, a must when you go here. <br/ <br/ Overall very enjoyable. It's the kind of food though that would be great to curl up on the couch with in winter. I would definitely call here for a takeaway dinner and even to come back to the restaurant without question.<br/ <br/ Edit: chickpea and potato curry was fabulous- expect nothing more then lots of chickpeas and potatoes in a well spiced curry but it is perfect for a soul warming meal !"

"We arrived in Ivanhoe quite late and just needed a quick bite of tea. We weren't sure if they were still open as it was nearly 8.30pm, but they were happy to take our order. The cashier wasn't proficient in English but seemed friendly. We ordered Fried egg rice and Beef black bean and Rice and braised beef. The meal was quick, hot and really delicious. We had an entree and I bought a bottle of water, it came to around $32.00. The little restaurant is plain but clean, and suited us just fine. The chef was friendly which we liked. I'd recommend it for good value for money and yummy food."
