"The best greasy spoon in the city. always a hearty, full teller for a reasonable price. the staff can be a bit of a size, but are always fast (they will have the food on their table within five minutes of order, also on busy days.) also the others that are dotted around the city are great, but this is next to an old, unused cinema building. it has dug film memorabilia over the walls and a car on the dach!"

"Like to sit outside in the sunshine here, as there aren't a lot of places in Northampton that you can do this. So this was the first time that I had visited since last year, and I'm sorry to say that the coffee that had has gone from the best in Northampton to the usual wishy washy average of the rest. What have they done ? Have they changed suppliers. I asked previously what sort of coffee it was, but all I was told that is was from the Cotswolds. Shame."

"Slightly embarrassing that so many of my reviews are about breakfast. I am so embarrassed that here is another one. The Drovers Return Cafe Breakfast is very good my son and I both had the optional black pudding just in case an artery had failed to congeal and neither of us regretted it. Well, not yet anyway! I enjoy eating in places where you can chat to the proprietor and other customers, for me a meal from hell would be a silent restaurant where everyone is scared to speak and the food/chef is venerated above the whole experience. I really liked the Drovers Return. There are also opportunities for dogs to exercise their owners (I seem to see quite a few who would benefit from this) and a railway which is run by train enthusiasts, although I have not seen this operating. Take the time for a walk here, this justifies a breakfast or whatever you fancy and you will feel better for it. Last thing. PLEASE can dog walkers clear up after their pooch? And I do not mean bag it up and then hang it on a branch, this is DISGUSTING. Rant over."
