"Wonderful night and delicious food. The team were very inclusive and helpful with my autistic son. After we requested a quieter table they went out of their way to accommodate and set up a whole new table in a much quieter space. A gesture that was greatly appreciated. Lovely, friendly staff and great food options."

"The service was just below average. Whenever staff brought a dish to our table, we thought they may have broken the dining ware. They were not gentle at all. No smile, no ‘enjoy your meal’ of course. They were too busy as the restaurant was busy. Food was fine. We had steamed rice with beef brisket stew, roast duck, and duck and jelly fish salad. Some parts of the duck were good, but some other parts were too salty. They could have marinated the duck more evenly. Beef brisket was soft and not too salty, but it would be better if it could be less fatty. Again the salad had some good parts, and the other overly salty parts. The steamed rice was served in a bucket with a lead instead of in a bowl. There was a spatula in the bucket also, so we could serve ourselves. This was a bonus point as the rice could be always warm."

"BBQ City is a Gouger Street institution. It has been around forever because it serves good food, all the time and is great value. The serves are generous and the prices are great. The menu is huge there is definitely something for everyone on here but you can't go past the roast meat hanging in the window duck, pork, chicken. Yum."

"Very good barbecue, the quality of the meat is quite good. I have been there several times during the buffet before, and now it is much cleaner than before after the renovation. The service is also ok, the waiter will occasionally come to help with the roasting. Wagyu beef is recommended. The snow pattern on the meat slices is very good and very appetizing. Bibimbap is also delicious. The serving was quick and the presentation was good. It was raining outside the last time I went, so I enjoyed the charcoal barbecue when the weather was cold"

"Went with great expectations and came with empty. eating is not what you can relish. very inactive staff. can better say less enthusiastic employees. if they try a new kitchen, they need someone who influences them or leads them through what was not the case here. I tried a lot and was not very happy about it."

"Was not sure about it. Wow was one of the best days with family in ages. Just a great 2hrs on The Torrens River. Cooked our BBQ Supplies on the side of the river, excellent. Our pre ordered drinks where the right amount for the length of time. Highly recommended, and will use again."
