"We first went here 30+years ago and manged to find it again this August holiday with the extended family joining us. The service is friendly, professional and well managed. The food, seafood especially, is beautifully cooked and there is an imaginative use of sauces and marinades, such as in the sardines starter, the dip to accompany the langoustines, and in the reduction served with the roasted pork. A lovely cheeseboard highlights the best of the region. Children's plates were equally well presented and were appetising. Local wines were reasonably priced and carefully served."

"Stopped at this excellent little restaurant for a snack and a drink. We sat outside during our visit and were looked after by a very friendly and attentive waitress. We went inside the establishment and admired the ambiance. The menu is simple but wholesome French food. As with most restaurants in this area, seafood figures highly in the choices. Will return next trip to Batz"
