"Location is quite trendy by the port and you pay for it. Oysters are ok (a bit salty) and it is expensive for what you get. You do pay the really nice location by the port. We had a pleasant time anyway."

"I've been here this summer (you have to book, otherwise. The wait can be long), I came back on December 31. No disappointment, the welcome is made with charm and smile, the pork cheek at the dish of the day is excellent, melting and well served. Crêpes and cakes are coming. Small pleasant and cheap address to remember."

"We stopped on spec and given my english translation being poor and google translation being even worse a kind lady ( the wife of the owner/chef as it turned out ) offered for her husband to come out and translate for us.What a wonderful and friendly guy - made us feel very very welcome and after explaining the formula 14.90 Euro we both elected to have that. What an absolute delight the meal was - main was superbly cooked piece of lovely cod with new potatoes and delicious sauce. We both devoured the meal with french bread to mop up the sauce. The dessert was equally delicious with very finely sliced pineapple and a boule of mango ice cream to compliment it.Fantastic and afterwards the chef came out to have a chat with us ( speaking much better english than my pigeon french !!!) - he was so friendly and genuinely interested in knowing how we felt about our meal and if we enjoyed the food. In all honesty we both stated that it was an exceptionally enjoyable meal and for me about the best luncheon meal I have had in many a year. The owner/chef was so likeable and it was very evident that he has a passion for cooking food well and he cared about the customer. Not always the case in most restaurants I have visited in the past few years.If you are visiting Noirmoutier on your holiday give Le Duplex a try - we were certainly glad we did. If we were in the area again I would 100% revisit the restaurant without doubt"

"Looking at Tripadvisor, we had difficulties in choosing a good creperie, as loads seems to have poor service......so we made our choice once we went to that walking street, with full choice of restaurants.......made our pick on this place, that looked very nice, with an extensive menu.......Went twice, to make sure my observations were right at first try, to leave a fair review.....The food is really good, the "Galette Perigourdine" is quiet tasty...Service was good in general, the little brunette waitress was excellent, very courteous, very pleasant, and helpful.....Paid about 75 euros, for 3 galettes, 3 desserts and a bottle of cider and one of water, excellent value.....would recommend for sure, and will be back next time we will be in Noirmoutier......"
