"The hotel is getting old and needs to be renovated in a few places, but it is all the more charming and authentic. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They speak French, German and English. The rooms and the restaurant were clean. The breakfast was quite extensive and very tasty. Refilled if necessary. There was ample parking, a bus stop, cafes and a large supermarket nearby. From there I reached many sights."

"Excellent cooking, although the signature dish (lobster), to me, wasn 't as good as eg the fish dish. The wine list is huge and the sommelier 's advice to the point. Overall, it 's an excellent restaurant."

"Surprise find during our visit at the Salamanca Markets. A definite must have if you're around and something you wouldn't want to skip. Had the classic pav the first time round then another classic brown sugar lime the second time.....in the same day! A little endulgent but so necessary. Definitely one of those Pav-lovas now"

"L'accueil est assez moyen et très "touristique". 80% de la clientèle est étrangère. Le service est " à la bonne franquette". Par rapport aux appliqués, on s'attend clairement à un service de meilleure facture....Le plat (rumsteck) est bon, sans saveurs particulières et le vin, bien que cher, est honnête. Le café par contre n'est clairement pas au niveau... un désastre. Les tartes flambées (hors de prix^^) servies sur les tables à côté sont minuscules et ne font pas l'unanimité."

"An excellent little patisserie and café for a snack from a range of cakes and pastries and hot cold drinks. The typical French breakfast is tasty and good value too. As well as the pleasant, brightly decorated interior there are tables outside on the...picturesque (largely traffic free) road, and in the garden at the back."

"We invited to lunch while we visit riquewihr (a beautiful little town). we had both different versions of tarte flambé and both were very good. a beautiful restaurant with pleasant staff. treppen zum wc are very steep, so no good for all with...mobility ask."
