Been here several times and always left happy. There are also vegan falafels, frankfurters, nachos, grilled halloumi. A great friendly riverside pub in the trendy Ouseburn area of Newcastle."

"We used to visit this restaurant pre covid and had a few deliveries when we were in lockdown. The food has been good on most occasions, you may get a poor meal when the restaurant is busy, but 9 out of 10 times the food was good. I called up for a collection on Monday night really looking forward to some tasty food. I looked at the menu online and chose my usual. When I arrived the restaurant was totally empty. I paid £22.00 for a tomato garlic bread and a Bolognese pizza. At the time I thought it was expensive, but I collected and headed home. When I opened the garlic bread box, it was thick dough not the thin and crispy as it had been in the past, I was gutted as it wasn't to my preference. Then I opened the pizza to find my favorite Bolognese had chilis on it. What a total waste of £22.00, then I realised I had seen the old menu not the new one, £15.00 for a pizza is a bit pricey. Won’t be going back there in a hurry."

"Came here with my friend and kids for the first time. This is a firm favourite for my friend and she was dying to introduce me to it. I ordered blondie a brownie and 2 cakes. On getting outside I realised I had 2 brownies and one cake. I went back in and explained to the lady behind the counter (turns out it was actually a complete understanding and probably more my fault as I said the peanut butter one not realising there was a peanut butter brownie and I wanted the peanut butter and banana cake) anyways I offered to swap the brownie as I hadn’t touched it or pay for a new cake. The lady was so lovely and offered me the cake as an extra for free. Really went above what she had to as like I say this wasn’t her fault. So 5* customer service. On getting the treats home (my son had ate his Nutella brownie already in town and he loved it) they were devoured I had the lemon and raspberry cupcake which was just perfect the complete right amount of buttercream not to much. And I’m reliably informed the blondie, cake and the other cupcake were equally delicious. We have found our new regular treat joint!"

"Really nice food and friendly customer service. A short wait for the meal, but I had nothing to wait for and it's done right. Good selection of drinks. Good view. A bit crowded, but expecting a Saturday that was also a gambling day in Newcastle city centre. However, there was still room to be taken. Only down is that the special Mayo was not refilled and the staff really worked hard, so did not want to disturb it."
