"The venue, ambience, presentation and service at Red Rooster are all stellar: it’s got such a cool African/American/food visual theme going on, and everything from music to plating to staff outfits supports that. We found the food to be only okay: the deviled eggs and chicken and waffles were solid but nothing to write home about. The mac and greens was decent but very heavy. The meat in the chicken sandwich was soggy, and the brioche bun didn’t feel like it belonged—though I must say the French fries that came with it were really excellent. Nice pickles, too. I was surprised, because the place has such a reputation—maybe an off day for the kitchen."

"Terrific bread. Yummy sandwiches with tasty and fresh produce and ingredients at very reasonable prices. Our family's favorite quick lunch place in Midtown.A friendly reminder, make sure to double check your order when picking it up in store. The staff messed up my order by failing to put two BLTs in it last week and almost forgot to put a lunch bowl in it today."

"I like joe the juice, although this place was the worst joe the juice I visited, slow and even my favorite smoothness didn't taste like it usually does (it was worse and I wasn't the only one who noticed it). so give 3 stars just because I like joe the juice as a brand and in general their drinks are good."

"One of the best spaces in the W70s/80s new interior, comfortable and stylish with plenty of daylight. But: I found music to be uncomfortably loud for conversation or concentration. Enough so that I got curious...and discovered it's part of their strategy. A la if it's too loud, you're too old (of course they don't say that, but actions... . You know what it's a free country. Perhaps Bro His Brews aren't for me, but there are plenty other good coffee shops close by."

"A Swedish friend took me here for a quick coffee break. Downstairs there is a tiny cage where they have coffee and tea and a bunch of Swedish treats (you do have to pay, I don't want to imply that it is gratis! We enjoyed some parties and drinks and the quiet location to sit and chat.I'm not sure that it's really open to the non-Swedish public, but I felt very welcome.A quiet little reprieve from the city!"
