"Great atmosphere, attentive staff that remembered my name, despite how busy it was (a first, and made a real difference) and best to eat tasty, served on massive teller that made it look like one of the chic restaurants that they don't feed next to anything, for lasting cash when in the did they give them a lot of food, for little money! a clever trick! it was great. we're coming back. Oh, if you go, and you should, I would recommend a booking. it can have to do. photos of steak and kidney cake, slowly boiled pig and a common panacotta. there is also one of our leberparfait with quittenstarter, but it was so delicious we just ate it."

"Came here on a busy evening last week and was suitably impressed. The scallops and the potted crab were both fantastic, and we each had a fillet steak, which was also really tender and perfectly cooked. The waitress that served us was absolutely excellent, it was her second week working here and is just learning about the wines which I’m sure she will master! The house sommelier, however, gave us excellent advice. We will be back!"

"Fabulous! A very warm welcome for the 2 of us and the dog from all the staff. Super food delicious smoked duck and scallops as starters and suet pudding and great sea bass as mains. All beautifully presented and only complaint was we were too full for pudding. The dog was even given a pot of treats! If we visit the area again we will definitely return!"

"Ordered some food for delivery but I didnt add up the price correctly, food came quickly and the price was £25.30. The delivery driver didn't have any change on him and wasnt very helpful, but I called up the chinese and asked if they could credit me £4 for next time I order. Instead of doing this, they dropped by with £5 later on and repeatedly apologised for the inconvenience. Couldn't rate them highly enough, lovely people and great food"
