"We'd spent the day at Rheinfall and as we had to change trains at Scaffhausen decided to have a look round and also find somewhere for drinks. The cafe is located just before the Metzgerbrunnen statue/square and has a large pavement seating area. The waitress who served us was really cheerful, friendly and happy to have some banter in English - well done to her! Our drinks arrived promptly and we were happy to sit and watch the world go by for a while before moving on. OK so prices aren't cheap but where's anywhere cheap in Switzerland!"

"Unfortunately clearly under the expectations. the nüsslisalat to the appetizer was slightly sloppy, the sauce was very good but for 13.00 overall too small. I ordered the megacarving that was neither tasteful nor great. the meat had a funny taste, which is why I had to return it. because the panade did not adhere, I suspect a bad storage in the deep cooler. the cordon bleu as eratz was okay, although the Marroni-Speck filling was cold, immortal because you wanted to serve the second court quickly so that my wife did not have to eat alone. her salate as well as 'fish"

"Three of us wandered 14 km along the Rhine. ends at the bus stop near this restaurant, but realized bus is about 45 minutes away. we decided and dinner in this restaurant in a building from the 15th Century....March over wood from this time and how well the place has been preserved. service, eating and drinks were good. will go again when there is an opportunity."

"My brother and sister suggested it, was not incomplete, spectacular food and great price too. Service was fabulous and fully appreciated meals, will return. My brother and I showed up here for his graduation and were glad that there were many great tables from which we appeared again and again. Nice food at a decent price, my sister and I really like it here. Large selection of drinks and food, certainly something for everyone."

"Nice italian restaurant in the beautiful town of Schaffhausen. Food was good and the portions were generous. The fries that came with the pork chop were a little too salty, and the pork was slightly too tough for my liking. However, the pastas (crab/lobster linguine, bolognese) were delicious. As with most meals in Switzerland, it was slightly pricey. Candies offered at the end of the meal were a sweet bonus."
