"We are fortunate to have such an awesome place just a few minutes from the job. This will be my new spot for team luncheons and anniversaries. Everything went great for my first visit. Placed order online, food ready and on time, order was complete with nothing missing and food was simply delicious. Menu has something for everyone. Lunch portions were generous. Greeted by a friendly staff. Love this place and will continue to visit."

"The moment you walk in, you know it's more than your average restaurant. You're welcomed by a blazing open pizza oven and warm ambiance. We did make reservations (for a Saturday night), so we were seated almost immediately. There was a crowd at the hostess stand for to-go orders, but that didn't hinder the service for us. Because it's a bit dark in the restaurant, it was nice that they had lamps at each table so you can read the menu with ease. Our waitress, Lily, was nice and attentive. Refilled our drinks whenever we were running low. She did forget my sweetener even though she specifically asked if I needed any, but other than that, she was slightly above average with her service. We started off with some soft salty and herbaceous italian bread and truffle oil. I love truffle, so it was a delight to have. I would've definitely liked more than 4 slices of bread for the amount of oil she gave us. We got 2 appetizers: fried olives and calamari (arugula and a sweeter marinara sauce). Fried olives had a nice fry (crunch with first bite and then a salty explosion). I would like to say that the calamari could use more of a fry, but that's just my preference. Overall, really good starters. For the entree, I ordered bucatini with clams. It was on the salty side, but I added a little bit more lemon to help balance. It was a bit oily too, but the bucatini was perfectly al dente. My husband had lamb rigatoni: funky, creamy, good balance of acid and saltly according to his review. The noodles were a touch overcooked. I think it could use visible lamb pieces, so we knew it was there, but you can taste the funk of lamb. Overall, give it a try and enjoy"

"Our visit was disappointing. The service was underwhelming, the wait staff was not attentive. Our food, while good, was served luke warm...as if it had been sitting for some time before it was served. One of the wait staff checked on us about 30 seconds after our food was served and then not again until we asked for our check. We usually have coffee and dessert, but instead opted for neither. I expect better, especially for the price."

"Shinano Sushi Bar Japanese Restaurant is an understated masterpiece. No heavy ornamented pictures on the walls and no Koi in a pool or the like. It simply concentrates its art to meticulous attention to detail and the delicate blending of flavors. My wife and I, culinary identical twins, always order the same thing. We decided upon the Bento Box with the tempura chicken and shrimp tempura combo. Our bubbly, courteous waitress was a bundle of enthusiasm. The lemonade was there in a flash, followed by a delicious Wonton Ko soup. Besides setting up your stomach, a poorly constructed soup can sour the mood. Most astounding was the portion of the box. Artistically laid out in the limiting confines of the box, you are delighted with a Japanese smorgasbord, excuse the strained metaphor, but your taste buds will forget the semantic faux pas and applaud the chef. I bet you can 't eat it all and you 'll make the waitress pack it all up for tomorrow 's supper. It 's that good!! Walking to pay your reasonable bill, it 's nice to have neighborly Goodbye by the owner. Real small town warmth with You 'al come back... You hear?!!! Back again.... We never really left! Dr. R. "First, we were denied a booth because they needed it for another party. Two hours later, the booth was still empty. The second glitch was when my wife ordered halibut and minutes later, The waitress came back to the table and said that the halibut that they had left was “not up to par.” Well we appreciated her honesty, the extended timeframe was a bit disconcerting. The food that we did get tasted wonderful, but the overall experience was tainted by the lack of accommodations and slow service"
