"Came on a Thursday afternoon during happy hour. Rolls and drinks were discounted during this time and surprisingly it was not very busy. This restaurant is pretty spacious inside and also has a full bar. Started with the edamame which was addicting and seasoned well. Also had the baked salmon roll and Garlic crunch roll since it was one of the few that had real crab. The order took a while but everything came out hot and fresh, food was good. The service was very attentive and someone was also coming by to check on our table or offer refills. Great spot for all occasions, would recommend going during happy hours for good prices."

"This was our first time visiting and the food was amazing and delicious. My sister is vegetarian and the lentils soup was delicious. The hummus and garlic paste masterfully made. My salmon was exquisite! And our server Manuel was gracious and kind. We will travel to dine here again!"

"Loved the pork Bahn mi here! Quite impressed because I've had my share of Bahn mis in my life. Their egg rolls were also superb! The fresh cucumbers were a nice touch with the lettuce that came with the egg rolls. Their sauce are also very nicely balanced as some other place success sauce can get either too sweet or too vinegary. Their crispy tofu were fried perfectly as well but were a bit bland for my taste. But the sauce was perfect! I've got to try their pho next! Their pieces are on the higher side as they are located in downtown Monrovia."

"We’ve have been coming here for years and just recently came back and am glad to see nothing changed. All of your favorites are still here as well as new items and their daily specials. Service is friendly but notice that it feels like there short staffed. Overall we had a pleasant experience and I recommend you give them a try when you’re in the neighborhood."

"Quaint Japanese Rammen Shop with tasteful options. Service was polite and attentive. Outdoor seating and nearby parking spaces were available. There are many juice options we haven't tried. Prices are reasonable and the shares were medium. The schishito paprika were delicious, but perhaps too hot for those who do not enjoy spicy. Recommended."

"We were so excited to hear that they started Taco Tuesdays! We went on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We continued to order and pick up the tacos during the shutdown. They aren 't your ordinary same place, same thing tacos. They are yummy unique versions with a new featured taco of the week! We went last night brought my daughter 's co-worker her boyfriend, who were excited to try these tasty tacos. They loved them! I highly recommend going to 38 Degrees Ale House for Taco Tuesdays!"
