"The dining experience was wonderful. We started with an appetizer, beef carpaccio, which was tasty. Then we had soup and salad, and again each one had a burst of flavor. Our main courses were simple but done well. Ended the night with the zabaglione and the creme brûlée. Each was very delicious. All the dishes were plated beautifully. This is the best Italian cuisine in the northern San Joaquin Valley."

"The food was very tasty. I recommend the Parmigiano veal. Our server was personable and helpful with the menu. Since it was NYE, I was nervous about the seats available, but my wife and I were in a cabin that was comfortable enough for two other guests. The prices were very reasonable, but the food didn't suffer. All around a great experience and a great, unpretentious neighborhood restaurant."

"This was my first time trying this place with my family and the waitress was polite at first but was offended and rude once we told her how gross the food was and the only good thing was the bread. To be honest this place is over priced and they don’t know how to cook Italian food. The fettuccine was watered down with gross flavor and the Ravioli was store bought and the sauce taste like ketchup. Service: Dine in"

"Our Server Maria B. she's is excellent!!so we started with the Bread basket I can't believe they charge for the bread (really?)on to the caprese very good tomatoes today, cup of the artichoke soup I liked it.I had the scallops I expected a sear on them but not, but good and husband had the prime ribeye (didn't look like a prime very thin) and unfortunately a lot of fat and grizzle, so if your looking for prime ribeye go to Costco and Bbq yourself.other than the Ribeye $65.00, we will always be back!!! Even though my husband did tell Maria about the steak and you could see all the fat and grizzle he left, we were not compensated at all, could've at least comped a dessert or something so that was a little disappointing. But we are faithful customers of Verona's actually since Jamie worked at Marco's 35 years ago. Have the chicken marsala its the best around. Verona's we love everyone there, and we will always be back. Until the next hot meal have a safe and cool summer!!"
