"Great local watering hole located in the Fifth (or the Third) Ward; I still get them confused. I found this place on Yelp, when a coveted restaurant couldn't take a reservation for one on a busy Saturday night, so I had to order out. They specialize in their gin and whisky selections. The bartenders are well trained craft cocktail maestros, we'll versed in witty dialog and efficient craftsmanship. I'm a tequila drinker, and was mildly disappointed that they had no reposado tequilas at the bar (a simple Milagros reposado would suffice), but was pleasantly surprised at the tequila signature cocktail on the menu, and the No 33 gin cocktail was delicious. They have a great romantic, candlelight atmosphere (perfect for creating the mood before heading home), and have an apothecary of specialty bitters and amaros to keep your pallette dancing in confusion as to what marvelous concoction is making your taste buds smile and slipping in a good Buzz to boot."

"This place is a must see. Great patio and knowledgeable bartenders! So happy that they allow dogs. I sat at there patio which was great and even got to meet the bar dog honey. If you want a cool comfortable place to play cards or go to their trivia night I suggest you go here"

"This is the best restaurant in Milwaukee. The quality is superb, the staff is super professional, the tasting menu is well worth the cost.My wife and I moved from Los Angeles and miss all the upscale dining options and Birch is among the best places we’ve been to anywhere. The ricotta filled pasta with a hint of jalapeño is my wife’s favorite, I loved the the steelhead crudo.The chef has an amazing pedigree and sources locally to really show off Wisconsin produce."

"It was a group (40-50) event lunch and the team here at BH42 handled really well. Top quality food and well maintenaned place. Plenty of drink options both alcohol and non alcohol. Service could be a little tardy at times, the location and foodmakes up for it. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available along with decent parking and clean restrooms."
