"First time to this fish and chip shop. A Wednesday evening, was told mins wait, went home and got back in Was it ready, no. Told it’s on the grill. It was crumbed butterfish x and chips. Asked again was it far...away and was told it’s coming off the grill. Another mins, got my order and free Tartare for the delay.. Home in a few minutes and was disgusted with the fish, one piece the crumb just fell off and the other piece was thin and small, the whole lot was just barely warm. Should have backed it, heated it up, ate a little an d threw it in the bin. Not worth the wait, very disappointing."

"Drive thru was so full that parked cars were blocked from leaving! I know how difficult their job can be unlike some customers out there but as a decent customer I decided to leave because unlike a lot of people out there I realize when a place is too busy I will decide to go elsewhere. This surely can't keep going on like this especially when you have school holidays just around the corner. In my opinion I think it might be time to build a third McDonalds and try to alleviate some of the stress off the staff and the two existing stores! In return I can guarantee you will receive a much happier level of service. Mildura is a growing town and when some places get really busy they should have the opportunity to expand."

"Really good cheeseburgers well seasoned and a thick patty but the star of the show for me was how the hell they got there chips so fluffy and crunchy. I'm not exaggerating by saying these are probably the most uniquely cooked and amazing chips I have ever had. Well worth a go wish I took a picture to show u all"

"With steak on our minds, we settled on the bisto, part of the grand complex. Easily seated, staff attentive and very pleasant. The specials were read out ... quite a list .... a for the hearing impaired, or on a busy crowded night or for those with just poor memory, i would defintly suggest to have specials card made up as after the waitress left, the conversation was ... "what was the one with the... did she say...." We ordered scotch steaks, served with chips/veg... cooked spot on. Ordered the crispy pork, with veg, just beautiful with a fab size on the plate. Ordered the fish of the day, sword fish. This was disappointing. Came with steamed type veg ( no chips) and while lovely, the portions of both was so so small, (2 small squares fish on bed veg) that we called into maccas on was home to manage the appetite of the hungry male. Overall a lovely night for atmosphere, noise level good, service, price and food. Will definitely keep on the list...(but just not order the fish if manly hungry."

"This place has a string of rave reviews on trip advisor. Every one I have read is about food and service. I can't say. I've never eaten here. So why the review? Well, because I would like punters to understand what I did not from...the flurry of reviews. This place is an annexe of a motel and when it comes to the ambience, thats how it presents. I went here expecting almost a fine dining situation but it's limited. And 3 of the menu items were unavailable. Look, I've given a 4-star review because everything else might be perfect. Don't know. Just sayin' check the premises out for yourself if you are expecting the quality dining that I was. Hope this helps..."
