"I was looking for someplace that might have the meal I have been craving since my last trip to France. On the day I arrived, I had a delicious lunch here that exceeded my memories. I ordered the duck leg confit with garlic potatoes. The duck was perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The potatoes were prepared with just enough garlic to be more interesting than normal. I saved room for the crème brule which was amazing. It looked a little over-brule'd on top, but I was wrong...it was perfect! It even had a nice amount of vanilla seeds in the crème. The service was excellent, and the waiter helped me order, due to my bad French, by speaking a little English to me. I'll definitely go back and try something else."

"Je dois avouer que l'extérieur ne m'a jamais donné envie, j'ai tendance à fuir tout ce qui vend du tabac. Il y a néanmoins une salle dédié pour manger. Et j'avoue que j'avais l'habitude d'aller chez le concurrent...Très bon accueil, endroit propre, tout commence bien. Mon repas s'est composé d'une soupe de légumes et d'un boudin noir/purée. Le tout à 10 euros 50.Plutôt imbattable pour quelqu'un travaillant dans le coin..J'ai apprécié la quantité et le côté bistrot/rustique des plats. C'est tout ce que je demande à un midi. La bonne pause qui met de bonne humeur sans compter l'accueil très agréable (c'était ma première dans cet endroit).A faire sans problème, carte réduite, n'oubliez pas de lire avant d'entrer !"

"I'm not sure if I understand why jean chauvel lost his Michelin star and honestly who cares (probably he does). but I knew jean from his time in les magnolias in le perreux and now as he escaped “to the west” I am...glad I managed to visit him there. the gastronomy restaurant is a masterpiece of decoration. you like to love it or not love it, but I found the environment very elegant and stylish. that was a promising start. my cucumber and I went quite reasonable for this class of declining for the first set menu. I was so impressed that I forgot to make photos. it was both amazingly good and very generous. the starter was its own meal. the foie gras (I am in the usually not a big fan) made me change my mind. the fish was naturally cooked to perfection and the dish itself was wonderfully balanced. there were surprises : imagine a parisian jamberry mousse! the cheese (which I did not expect) was an amazing sacred nectar. Never had such a fruity, tasty and yet delicate saint nectaire. I could only describe everything else with superlatives. we also had a big auxey duresses (mmmh bottles actually) at a very cheap price. jean is an artist. its wide is a perfect helper. I will continue to visit her. again!"
