"We stumbled upon this gem last night, and what a lucky stumble it was! I was set on trying something new and wonderful and that is what I got. I'm a bit of a food snob, and I enjoy good classic dishes from different ethnic backgrounds; I did not leave disappointed at all. Barcelona Tapas has delicious dishes that are simply perfect, and fantastic customer service. We tried a few of the tapas and paella. I highly suggest the grilled calamari and the sangria! It is evident how passionate chef is about the restaurant and the food he serves. We are looking forward to going back to try more menu items. I must also add that this New Orleans dining treasure would make an ideal intimate date spot."

"Great noodle dishes that come out of the kitchen quickly. Very satisfying and clean, no frills. All in all, a very unpretentious spot. No incredible deals here, but the value is there. I sat at the bar, so i had no problems with service. I haven't been to the other location in mid-city either."

"Max was our bartender for a pre- dinner drink and was very helpful in helping us with my wife's drink selection. Appetizers included Fried Green Tomatoes, Spicy Crab Claws, Charbroiled Smoked Oysters Gratin, and Crawfish and Dumplings. The Shortribs and Seared Scallops were fantastic!"

"I ordered a shrimp quadilla and the black bean soup on Saturday, March 19. It was great! Everyone was really nice when I picked up my food. My job was done and hot. I really enjoyed it. I wish they gave chips and salsa. I have to dinate next time. It seems to be a beautiful place."

"This place is cozy and buzzing with patrons. The wait was very short for our party of 3 even though the restaurant was mostly full. This was recommended by a local and I was absolutely not disappointed. I knew from the moment we walked in that our meal would be fantastic. After we were seated, our drink orders were taken and we were able to look at the menu. The lighting was a little lower than I normally like it but the menu was not difficult to read. We ordered the Arrancini to start with and it was perfect for sharing with 3 people. I wish more Italian restaurants would serve this dish instead of the standard mozzarella sticks (which I will always love). We each ordered different plates for our main course. I had the veal saltimboca, my lady had the eggplant parmigiana, and our friend ordered the chicken marsala. Everything came out beautifully and everyone cleared their plates. Then at the end of the meal we split a tiramisu because while we were stuffed, we couldn't leave the place without having something a little sweet. I will, without a doubt, come back to this wonderful establishment. It reminded me of summer trips to see my family in New York City. The food was delicious and our service was top notch. ? (photo shown is my cleaned plate)Parking: Parking IS tight. So that's an issue, but definitely not a deal breaker. I would walk a couple of miles if I had to park farther away."
