"Not the best thing I ever had and did not definitiw the worst. I got the brisket plate and thought they took me in discs. very thin discs with not much taste. the woman was pulled pork and it was dry. and mac-n cheese were moderate. the sauces were good. we came for a late lunch so that the line wasn't long, but eating came fast. many seats and a large selection of local beers!"

"Passing through Memphis, I had a chance to visit Beale Street. I had lunch at the iconic B. B. King's Blues Club. There isn't a band during the day, but you can almost hear the blues band playing when you walk in and look around. Known for their BBQ Ribs, but I ordered the Blackened Catfish and Shrimp Creole. This is a spicy, flavorful dish. If you love Cajun food, I highly recommend it. Excellent! The service was outstanding as well. Don't miss the opportunity to visit, evenif you are passing only through Memphis. Parking is easy, in the parking garage behind it."

"We had fantastic food and impeccable service. I especially enjoyed the mocktail, the fried oysters (served on stone-ground grits that were to die for), beet salad and the gulf fish. Tried this place out of pure chance on a random Wednesday night with my colleagues and was truly amazed. A gem."

"Everything was spot on. I had the fried catfish with collard greens and grilled asparagus. As an amateur cook with one of my specialties being collards, I use those as a barometer and these were some of the best I've had in a restaurant. The asparagus was also very well executed. I won't spend a lot of time on the catfish because it's only notable if they screw it up, which they didn't. Wish I'd gotten the bartender's name because the Sazerac I ordered was the best I've had outside of New Orleans."

"What has happened to cleanliness in restaurants!? I don't want to blame the EE if she didn't know or wasn't trained properly? However, she wouldn't want to eat food from a person who constantly wiped sweat, scratched her braids, pulled her phone out of back pocket, scratched her face and nose. I quietly informed her why needed a refund after I told her what I noticed. She was almost rudely nonchalant from the beginning as she left to inform the GM. He wanted to make the breakfast for me(as he scratched underneath his nose) I declined and insisted upon a refund. He rudely shoved the money into my hand. I informed him not to be mad at me but correct the EE on proper food handling. The GM thought it was funny?"
