"We had a wonderful lunch here in early August. It was a very hot day but the restaurant (about 30 seats in all) has terrific air-conditioning. The atmosphere is pleasant, service excellent, and the food quite wonderful. My husband's duck came with ratatouille, which I tasted - quite the best I've ever had. My food was terrific also. My husband had the 3 course prix fixe and was kind enough to share his dessert with me. It was a sort of peach crumble - but that doesn't really describe its deliciousness. The restaurant features fresh ingredients and inventive, really excellent cooking."

"Seemed very busy from the outside and we were seated inside. Menu is small and on a chalkboard. My friend ordered the ravioli or which was dry, the linguine with scampi was with prawns and was a bit bland. However the risotto with shrimps was nice! Good wine, good company, good location, lame handjobs"

"We had a great meal at Asti – which we originally discovered by accident – on our last night in Australia in mid-March 2012. It had been hard to get a booking even 2 weeks in advance (partly I think because they had a discount voucher offer going on). However, we arrived half an hour early and were seated straight away - and there were some empty tables most of the time we were there – although overall it was quite busy. I don’t think it had been open all that long, so they may have been getting up to speed still. The décor is pleasant, and the food was fantastic – I had the green asparagus velouté, pork belly and poached pear in red wine. There are a few criticisms – although overall we had a great time. My first choice of starter was not available, but I was not told until after I had ordered it, and my first choice for wine was also not available – again the waitress had to return to the table to tell me. The waitress spoke in French at times – well, I love a French accent and I understood her, but that seemed a bit odd/unnecessary in Australia. There was a toilet off of the area where we were seated, and although there was a sign to say to use the toilets upstairs, someone used the downstairs one and left the door open. The staff did not spot this and I had to ask them to close the door so that I could get on with my meal without looking into the loo! This is an expensive, aiming to be top range, restaurant, so the service needs to be perfect. However, if we went back tomorrow I guess these things will probably have been sorted out. Unfortunately it’s a 24-hour flight away….. With slightly better servcie and slightly lower prices, I'm sure it will be a great success."

"Restaurant situé sur le vieux port, vous pouvez donc manger avec vue sur le beau port de Marseille, dedans ou dehors.Le gros plus : service en continu proposé, ce qui nous a sauvé la vie car à 15h30 nous n'avions toujours pas mangé et rien n'était ouvert !Le personnel est très accueillant, sympathique et chaleureux.Les plats proposés sont frais, très bons et les prix très corrects.Le seul bémol que je mettrais pour ce restaurant : les quantités proposées ne sont pas forcément adaptées pour des grosses faims ou des gros mangeurs.Mise à part ça, nous sommes très ravis de ce restaurant et nous recommandons."
