"My husband and I were looking for a place to grab a bit and after being turned away at a place two doors down due to no more reservations, we walked by Lilin. The ambiance and menu attracted us right away. There were a few people already sitting but not overcrowded and it was 8:30/9pm on a Saturday night. Weng was our server and he was more than gracious with helping translate the menu and offer suggestions. Everything we ordered was amazing- the chicken Spring rolls, noodles and scallops as well as the sautéed prawns with rice. If it weren't for the fact they are closed on Sunday, we would of returned the following night for dinner again. Thank you, Weng and all the crew at Lilin for awesome hospitality and superb cuisine!"

"Toronto has five China Towns so we eat Asian cuisine a lot. We know good from badso I was leary about going here. However, I was also getting over a cold, it was a miserable day and I needed some ' comfort ' food. Longish room, interesting art, pleasant staff. The menu, looked to have the standard offerings. It was fun trying to translate and find our favourites. Not much English spoken. We decided to have the menu, three courses for 13 euros. Tea was an additional 3 euros per person. I thought that was too much, no matter how nicely served. Everything we had was very good and generous portions. From what I could see going past, all the food looked tempting and everyone seemed happy. We 'd go back, except we come to France for French food but this was a nice change."
