"We booked Bistrot 13B last minute for our final dinner in Marseille having realised one of our other choices were fully booked, which in hindsight was probably a blessing! I emailed Bistrot 13B for a booking around midday and got a reply a few hours later with a confirmation. Service is excellent and you can see the cooks working in an open kitchen. The menu is displayed on a chalkboard and, considering we only spoke English the waitress kindly explained everything to us. We ordered the salmon for starter having seen the reviews, which I did enjoy. Personally the combination of flavours were great, I would have just liked a larger quantity of salmon on the plate. For mains we ordered the steak and fish mains. The fish was to die for! The flavours go together exceptionally well and the rice compliments the dish perfectly. Would happily return just to have this again. Of course it was cooked perfectly. The steak was huge and cooked reasonably well but very well seasoned which added to the dish. For dessert we ordered the mousse, which was very rich in flavour and really what a mousse should taste like. This along with some water and a G&T cost approximately £70 so of good value considering the quality of the good. Some of the best service we received in Marseille. Don't miss out on this place."

"We were very happy to find a typical local restaurant, the ambient was Cool, but the whole Experience was really dissapointing. The Food was nothing special, The owner was arrogant, laughing about us and asking us why have we come to France if we don’t know the language. Wouldn’t recomend to anyone."

"It's not my first visit... always so satisfied! Thanks to the music broadcast, I find this Andalusian atmosphere that I love so much... The staff is upstairs. By experience, I simply advise not to go too late especially if you want to Savour good tapas because they are often victims of their success ... If it's just to drink no time problems"
