"Fish n Chip Store is in a great place, close to the water, parks, picnic tables and views.- Chips are delicious, & the amount you get for one serving is crazy good. - Fish fillets are tiny and definitely not worth there price but tasted nice- Calamari texture didn't seem right, wasn't sure if I should have eaten it, and the price per piece of calamari was terrible also"

"I don't bother with the more expensive fish and chips in Fremantle these days unless we have visitors, as I just get my fish and chips from Zedz instead. I had three kids to feed and I just get them the kids fish and chips for $5 (I think this has gone up recently to $5.50 or so). This is great value, as the fish is quite large, and in fact it's big enough for an adult. If I don't feel like spending more, I just get a kids size fish and chips myself. $20 to feed a family of four is unheard of these days, especially when it comes to fish and chips.The only reason I'm giving it four instead of five stars is the chips could be vastly improved if they used another brand of chips. The ones they use are a bit on the powdery side, but for the price, I cannot complain. Would I instead pay $60 for better chips, but otherwise the same thing? No way!The staff are very efficient and nice kids. Very busy sometimes (eg Friday), so you might want to phone your order in as it sometimes takes 20-30mins during busy nights."

"These are our favorite fish and chips. rich portions, well cooked and not fat. the staff is friendly and every time we ring, it is always 10 minutes until the order is finished. that cannot be more efficient. even better they can. pay by credit card. we were always happy with eating and our last outing was there last week. Really happy to support a local small business that produces big fish and chips to reasonable trips."

"I ordered gluten free grilled fish and chips and they were nice, fish was cooked well, although a little too garlicky, chips were tasty. My husband ordered normal crumbed fish and chips, he said his was good and cooked nice lay as well. Altogether a good meal, & I can get GF so that's a bonus."

"Very pleasant and cheap to taste with seafood. Not like the bars and restaurants of the Port, but with the typical atmosphere of the Cart. Small streets, lots of street art. The servers were super kind and worried about our well-being. The mussels were perfect and the seafood plates were beautiful. By the way, the secret winner was the fries for me. Try the fish and the chips: delicious! There are also typical desserts and a delicious espresso coffee. (Original view) Very nice place and cheap to enjoy some seafood. Not like tourist bars and restaurant in the Port, but with the typical atmosphere of the Basket. Small streets, lots of street art. The servers were super kind and worried about our well-being.
