"Situated in the centre of Margaux, this was the perfect place for lunch. Le Savoie has several rooms - from simple bistro to more formal dining. We enjoyed our lunch in the pleasant, covered courtyard. My husband chose lamb for the main course and I enjoyed a tender steak, both cooked to perfection. Our desert, fruit zabaglione, was out of this world. This restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes and serves the kind of French food travellers dream of, simply delicious."

"The family and very friendly welcome does not do everything. very ordinary kitchen without any imagination. dessert (useoles) is unworthy of a restaurant. the worst I've ever eaten (industrials apparently). the value/price ratio is not at the date. Too bad. we won't come back"

"Visited to lunch while on a wine tasting tour this place is a bit a jewel. blackboards show the menu with a good selection of starters and nets that vary depending on the season. our waiter spoke English helpful about the menu. fortunately return to our next visit in the region."

"To flee ! The photos on the site give the impression of a place with high-end services and an up-to-date establishment. I wanted to surprise my boyfriend instead we found ourselves in a mix of an Ibis hotel and a military camp. The restaurant deserves major work, cold atmosphere. The only strong point is the dishes served. The prices do not match the location! 194€ per room from the 70s with worn and stained carpets, the decoration needs to be completely overhauled!"
