"Taste'n'Brews is one of the best beer cellars in the north of Paris. Seb's advice is excellent. At home, you will have all the information about craft beers and the craft movement in particular. No industrial without soul here: only powerful, character, and authentic. At the bottom, there is a small bar space, where you can also enjoy between four pressures, or bottles and cans, in a large well-filled fridge. There are British, French (with one of the best selections I know), Belgian less conventional and Dutch or Spanish. The sausages are excellent, and for some years there are many organized thematic evenings (US, yoga, amateur brews, jury etc... Here we love good beer and noble product. Prices are sometimes high, but the quality of the selection and the rigor in the board are worth the detour. An indispensable address."

"From fantastic snacks, to the most beautiful beer this has to be Lille's number 1 spot. We visited in September, on night 1 and night 6 of our stay. On night 6, we dabbled with the Caroline Reaper Stout at 12%. It is easily the best thing that I have ever tasted. It is strong, so be careful, if you see it on your visit. The staff are fun and friendly. The atmosphere is polite with a mix of nationalities. I met Brits, Aussies and of course, lots of lovely people from Lille. The music playlist is perfect. From ambient beats, to indie music to lo fi and IDM. It makes for quite the evening. Food is available, including a beautiful Aubergine Caviar for us vegetarians. If I remember rightly, at only 6eur for a pot and bread. Disabled access friendly. Lower floor for extra seating. In the heart of the old town."

"Very nice and quiet setting it is well located in the old Lille near a metro (10 min a feet). The kitchen is good and the staff is pleasant. Only negative point on plastic straw in the cocktail.I highly recommend."
