"Malaras RUDE. Going to revise my review of this restaurant because of a recent experience I had their. I went to Malaras for dinner by myself at p.m. On a Friday night. I walked in, and decided I wanted to sit at the bar to eat. I walked up to the bar and asked the woman bartender if I could sit there and have dinner. With a snotty attitude she said no, we don't serve dinner too people here at the bar. We're too busy There was no one sitting in the bar. ZERO. She was leaning against the bar watching TV. I again emphasize to her my desire to eat at the bar and she said, not gonna happen I said, so, you'd rather lose my business than serve me at the bar She said, You're just one ANY restaurant that has that attitude doesn't deserve ANY BUSINESS. So now, our monthly family dinners for people will be going elsewhere because they couldn't take care of the one. This mom and pop will likely go the way of the others. Ciao!"

"Taken plate of the day entrecôte truffle sauce with gratin dauphinois. Excellent ! Good quality meat and the well-balanced gratin with its spices and garlic, succulent. I had just returned from a heavy funeral ordeal and the meal lived up to my expectations. I really recommend it and I will come back. "This is one of those times I'd wish we could hand out half point scores as well. I feel that 3/5 is a bit too low and 4/5 would have been too generous on the day.Love the setting and the energetic waiter makes everybody feel welcome. For me though, the food was a bit too simplistic but that's personal. Anything i can easily come up with at home isn't something I'd necessarily run to a restaurant for. So the goat's cheese salad was just ok.The olive oil and bread that came with, were great though ! Again, for mains, a simple but good entrecote ( with very good fries ) The chocolate fondant was quite tasty.Time for a coffee, but as in some many places , once you're done, you're done and forgotten. So instead of coffee I went in to go and collect the bill."
