"When me, my wife and kid just arrived at melukote, it was past 2pm. We started finding subbanna mess. Even after walking around 300 meters we failed to find but later on the way found this New Sampathkumar Bhavan. As we were tiered and very hungry, we surrendered our-self and entered this restaurant. It was almost empty with just 2 people having food there. seating was good and basic. We ordered 2 plate lunch and it was very simple, and amazingly tasty like homely food. Lunch was served with pickle, parata, gashi (Chickpeas Curry,) dry curry, rasam, rice, puliyogare, buttermilk and with extra salt. Puliyogare was so nice and we bought another plate of it. Total amount paid was just Rs 140. Service by the owner was good. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visit melukote."
