"The food was excellent. It really is. Everything was hot and freshly made. It is just a tad expensive but honestly it’s worth it if you want a nice brunch place to go. Atmosphere is unique. Lots of interesting decor and the hustle and bustle of breakfast is always fun to experience in a diner. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for breakfast in Madison."

"Was in town for a fun weekend with my girlfriend and we decided on Sardine based upon the previous reviews of this establishment. The pan-seared whitefish for $22 was way overcooked and the sauce was very heavy, the Orechiette pasta for $15 was not what we expected, it was a heavy pasta base and the broccoli rabe was extremely tart. Finally, Brittany our server didn't bring the first entrée's out at the same time and was quite inattentive. For $58 for the meal and a $7 tip, I would rather spend my money elsewhere. BOO Yah!"

"Awesome restaurant. As advertised has an eclectic feel, and has great food. We had the mussels, shu mai, wings (a special), a pizza, and dumplings and found everything to be excellent. Great ambiance, and service was attentive and quickA couple notes, it has relatively limited seating and does not take reservations, so we went next door and had a beer and had some one check back til we got in. Unlike some reviews indicates, it was not cash only."
