"This place was already one of the best value in town, it's now something else. Firstable, the tables are now dressed with tablecloths. Secondable, the chef definitely improved himself by paying more attention to details ; maybe you'll wait a bit more but it's more than worthy !Finally, the service has also been upgraded, they're still excellent for wine advices but they're now able to fillet fishes before you share it with one or 3 persons...Very surprised to see a great place become better and better each year !Cheers :)Douglas"

"In May of we again were in L'Isle for a months vacation in the Luberon. Our Sunday morning is the huge market in L'Isle, and we still find the best place for a wonderful lunch is at Le Jardin du Quai. This year we...ate there times, and all three times the food was terriffic. The menu changes fairly often, depending on what is fresh in the area, but it has always been top class, tasty, and superbly presented. We always select to sit in the garden (only once did we ever have to eat inside) and enjoy the weather, out of doors, and food and wine. The staff is very friendly, and helpful, but bear in mind that on Sunday at lunchtime there are no seat reservations, and the garden fills quickly. A full house/garden can be expected on that day, so bring some time with you so you can thoroughly enjoy your lunch. My recommendation sit outside, and order at least courses. Incidentally the house wines are very good choice."
