"We had been hearing about Smithtown for months and decided to have dinner here while having a beer at West 6th. It was difficult choosing what to order as the shrimp and grits battled fish and chips in my head, two of my favorites! In the end both myself and my husband went with fish since beer goes so well with that. LOL We were very happy we did as it was fantastic! Very crispy on the outside and flaky inside, served with two flavor-filled hush puppies and my favorite kind of fries. And to beat all, even their ketchup and tartar sauce was excellent. My husband got the remoulade which had just a bit of heat, and I definitely I will get that next time."

"On a road trip from georgia to chicago, my friends and I were looking for a traditional Mexican place to eat. we were tired and hungry most restaurants were close. Luckily, el malecón found, we are pleased to say that his best customer service we have received. Although they were less than an hour to close, our server nora looked after as if we were the first customers of the day. we are in gratitude and beyond that eating is amazing. the consom instead of chips/nachos made an influence of different and specificity that distinguishes this location from other locations. tacos dorados are the bombs and their tears are very tasteful, there is a lot of soul and love on this teller. we not only enjoyed eating, but the great customer service we received."

"Food was really hot and smelled so delicious. Me and my mom shared a meal and a side for less than $15 so it was budget friendly considering these other fast food places out there. The employee serving at the window was kind and very attentive to my requests all while having a good time with one of her fellow employees inside. I don't usually listen in, but he was making me laugh about something that was going on between the staff. Entertainment and good service. Is this possible in such a time? I know most fast food places have a very hard time finding people that enjoy serving. I wonder what is different here? Thank you Captain D for the catch of the day when it comes to seafood and staff who know how to serve with a ?."
