"Det er ikke her de almindelige turister kommer. Her møder man de lokale franskmænd med hang til at spille. Andre kommer forbi kiosken for at hente avisen eller købe tobak.Stemningen herinde er god. Værten er venlig, imødekommende og meget opmærksom på sine kunder. Der er plads til alle.Dette sted er absolut noget anden end de andre kafeer man møde i indre by hvor turisterne vælter rundt."

"So, we have returned to this restaurant already more than once during our stay here in La Baule! Why? The crepes are really delicious, including local sausage and other typical French options. The hosts are kind and enjoyable to talk with! Finally, this little restaurant is simply charming...in location (just off the town square) and decor! Really a must visit for a delicious meal and experience!!"

"This is were we we directed to after my boys wanted to eat crepes and we saw people ng wine. We didn't realise they were 2 separate venues! Barapom, La Baule, is where my boys sat for crepes whilst we were seated here for wine. Amazing, accommodating friendly service. We were quickly greeted and attended to by the owner. Were we're sat outside to keep an eye on our boys seated next door eating their crepes. As they had finished they joined us and we sat inside as there was more room for my hyper boys. Even the single french guy sat infront of us inside was friendly and playful! Great wine list, but not cheap. Friendly owner even recommended we come back for a singer coming from India playing on Monday 7th August. Which we sadly missed to to being in Guerande. . We had the most Devine wine recommended, which I shall upload later. But wasn't cheap. Stylish wine bar, amazing and welcoming service. We loved it."

"A avoid! The worst customer service ever seen in france! They made us wait 45 minutes just to take orders! Finally, we had to leave!! I'd give 0 stars to this restaurant. My friend of the nantes and I visited this place on October 3. We only saw 2 servers, so we waited patiently on the chairs of the terrace waiting for the menu. But no one recognized us for 30 minutes while the people who came after us were served before us. Then a male server saw us and asked us what we need. We asked for a menu that came after 5 minutes! While we were making our selection, no one came to take the order even after 15 minutes, although the people around us who came after us were served. Seriously, we were furious at that moment when a blonde waitress didn't even establish visual contact with us while serving the table alongside us. Were we victims of racial discrimination, I wonder? I and my friend have South Asian origins. I've never seen such a pathetic service in a French restaurant. I would not recommend this place to international tourists! "Le nouveau gérant n'a aucune connaissance en restauration!! Déjà à peine passer la porte que l'ambiance semble tristounet, plus d'accès pour les enfants sur la plage, et plus de jeux non plus! Nous commandons une bouteille de vins rouge, qui n'est même pas déboucher devant nos yeux! Et il la pose sur la table, sans même nous faire goûter... On se sert tous seul...nous prenons entrée plat, on nous ramène le plat... Soi disant qu'il n'as pas entendu notre entrée!! Les plats ne sont pas à la hauteur des année précédent on ne je ne voit plus ce que j'écris on ne peut même pas metre de plus de commentaires ??? Allo TripAdvisor ??La carte"

"Not so high up in the ratings at time of checking - but only good reviews, always a good sign of on the way up. we understand why. Very nice ambiance inside. Friendly service with a great selection on the menu to suit the varied tastes of our small group. Each enjoyed their meal - good fresh ingredients well prepared & served in a good and timely fashion. Could not comment how to improve."
