"Found this quaint little restaurant nestled among other shops, restaurants and bars on a cobblestone street. Fixed price menu that includes steak and salads. Desserts were fabulous. Plenty of gluten free options. Children’s menu option of hamburger with fries and dessert. Fresh bread on the...table. Kids and parents were both happy. Highly recommended for a steak and salad."

"We were taken to Le Beaulieu by LeMans residents who were proud to show off the local Michelin star restaurant. We, and our hosts, were not let down. Downstairs there is a nicely appointed café/brasserie, upstairs was all French elegance. The staff was highly trained,...attentive, but not obsequious. The owner chef was welcoming, friendly, happy, and clearly invested in his guests ' experience and in his dishes. There were a limited number of menu items, but they were very receptive to preference alterations. First, the tiny tastes , each masterful. Then there was The Egg. How does one make an egg appetizer with a touch of fois gras with 10 tastes and textures that I had never experienced before? Then lovely beef and asparagus, and decadent dessert. The others had fish, with universally positive reviews. A truly Top 10 experience!"

"Ignore the yellow plastic chairs and Formica tables it's the food the French go there for. The restaurant was filled with French couples and groups all enjoying the great food and relaxed atmosphere. The service was quick without being over powering with the staff watching the customers not their mobile phones. There is a simple menu so everything is cooked from scratch and a decent wine list. We had a great time, enjoyed the excellent food and wine surrounded by French diners doing the same thing."

"We had a table for 6 people on Friday evening (with a stroller) we were put in the living room of raphaël: a cozy and quiet place. Very good food. an excellent duck magret, a very good beef paved"
