"For my partner’s son’s bday, 4 of us visited Elixor for dinner. My partner, son and daughter had all been many times and given me very good reviews of the restaurant but now was time for my own opinion !! A warm welcome, but...an immediate issue, my UK vaccine passport QR code did not recognise on their QR reader. The manager quickly intervened, he was very friendly and polite, understood the situation and resolved the matter, wishing us a pleasant evening. Seating is comfortable and the layout of the restaurant works well. We shared the VIP starter all good. Calamari exquisitely to my taste. Now being from London, England I have eaten a lot of Fish and Chips in my life ! I ordered fish and chips for my main meal and I honestly say the fish was exceedingly good. Everyone commented on how good their mains were. AND big portions too. However saying all of the above there was one more cog in the wheel of Elixir that was above and beyond expectation. The service from our waiter (and I apologise I did not get his name) was just incredible. I am a restauranteur myself and the gentleman who looked after us last night was a credit to the industry and a credit to himself as a humble person. Thankyou Elixir. Andy L"

"We saw a review of this restaurant on TikTok video. The person convinced us to try it by his comments and pictures of the pizza and pasta . We were willing to travel about 30 minutes from home to sample it and it was all worth it!We started by sharing a cesar salad with homemade vinaigrette and crispy pancetta.We were in the mood for pizza. All pizza are individual size. I ordered the Toscana (sweet tomato sauce, arugula, prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, fiore di latte, parmesan petals and balsamic reduction). Are you salivating yet? Wait!My husband had the Carnivore (tomato sauce, mozzarella, pancetta, pepperoni, italian sausage, and italian cooked ham. Another homerun!The dough was perfectly baked. They also have gluten- free dough.Busy restaurant. The service was great.It's a small restaurant, so if you are planning to give it a try like we did, it's recommended to reserve ahead of time.A BIG GEM in a small package!So glad we went and we will for sure return"
