"Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! First visit, and it was fantastic. The staff is every bit as engaging, warm and welcoming as any in Acadiana. The Cajun Benedict and Praline Bacon is unbelievable. The Fench Press is definitely going to be a must stop every time we're in town."

"Just parked here to get out and take photos from the FREETOWN shield over the street. They were closed, but it was nice, there was a parking space available to get out of traffic and park safely for a photo without fearsome no parking tractor signs anywhere, as it seems usual in Louisiana. Thanks Gary's!"

"I live in Baton Rouge. My son was visiting in Lafayette, and stopped by your bakery and bought the most DELISHIOUS tiny crayfish pies. They were really fantastic, especially the crust . . . so tender and light. I wanted to order some from y 'all, but your websites doesn 't seem to offer a delivery opiton. . .and in addition, I can 't find the little pies on the website. Do you have a menu with items such as the little crayfish pies, and send to Baton Rouge? I 'm 84, so doubt that I will be driving to Lafayette . . . even though I LOVE to come visit. I went to college there, when the University was SLI . . . Southwestern Louisiana Institute . . . . LOL ! LONG time ago.Look forward to your reply, when you have time.Best Wishes, Sandra Gourrier"

"4.3 stars: black caffe was definitiw a jewel that was fucked away in an otherwise average suburb. I was tempted by her famous big black burger so I had to stop for it. the burger was perfectly cooked without sacrificing juiciness and with speck and a fried egg everything they want in a burger. none of us ever tried Scotch eggs, so we ordered one. in the Chinese, the word for deep fried egg and the word for the bomb are homophone (sounds exactly the same; only different meanings) and the Scotch egg was quite literally bombed. it was so delicious that we ordered more. both the verbal compassion and those who came first were suspicious, but I preferred the pork. it was well seasoned and very filled. we also have a café au lait and a espresso. the coffee was just in order. my family and I ended our meal with a order of rignets and to my surprise the mini-beignets were warm and fluffy. in the midst of all controversial and hate crimes committed in recent years against the black and Asian races, I think it is important to support each other. Sure, my family and I have some stars going, but they still have a great customer service and that's all I can ask."

"On the other day there was an early cup of coffee! The staff was particularly professional and made me feel at home. At the end I stayed up as long as I tried the Boudin and it was the best around Lafayette and the surroundings! A must stop if you didn't try... You will be impressed"

"This was my first time eating Hub City in a very long time and it was like I stepping back in time. The food was just as good as I remembered. "I've had the Pollo Mexicano and it was just ok. However, the Reuban THE Great sandwich is so delicious! I ordered it w/ pastrami and 1000 island on the side. I can not describe how delicious this sandwich is. And so worth the price. I ate 1/2 for lunch Friday. I just reheated the other 1/2 in the toaster oven then added the 1000 island. Even better than yesterday. I highly recommend this sandwich"
