"Very good French cuisine restaurant, located in a small street behind the post in the old room of the red tree. the restaurant offers a map and two menus (from memory to 25 and 36 euros), with a choice between two entries and between two dishes (1 fish / 1 meat) that are renewed regularly depending on the season. The kitchen is sought after, almost gastronomic, while being quite classic, well presented, both a copyful and a tasteful one. only flat during our arrival, some of the dishes offered were not available. The service in the room was discreet, at the beginning a little cold then gradually more friendly, with a good presentation of the dishes that made the desire to taste it. In compensation for the unavailable dish, the restaurant offered us the wine we ordered to the glass.Maybe because it is a little hidden, the restaurant does not seem to be as frequent as it deserves. In any case, when we arrived, there were only two tables served, which gave a little cold atmosphere to the room."

"Beautiful place for wedding reception etc. but not enough work in the acces! how a domain that stores so much money, does not put lighting at the exit of the parking lot you find yourself literally in the black. Not much sign and none that is illuminated!!! and that clearly indicates the accesses it goes from the same for the entrance I think there are efforts to provide on this side there."

"I ate four dinners and three breakfasts in this restaurant during a business stay. The menu was quite limited, and the food was plain but acceptable. The service was okay, but the staff easily seemed flustered, and they also ran out of certain key dinner menu choices like apple tart and jacket potatoes on two of the four days. The side dishes were also very limited: pommes frites, haricot vert and salad were about all there was."

"Rocroi is a charming village (proven, medieval style) but the restaurant is a candy. it seems like there is no heating : la table de cond is as cold as it is owner. this is not a traditional French kitchen, but a kind of microwave kitchen. we are together with my man. we never come back: too expensive for quality!"

"In fact the only common point with a Fastfood, is that food id indde brought quite rapidly to your table, however the young french chef is indeed a true Cordon Blue who cooks a different menu daily according to his own wimsy... depending on what he bought that morning at the local market. Interestingly enough he refuses to own a freezer as he claims that having one would mean the end of using daily fresh products. Considering the very pleasant choices the Menu du Jour offers, I was extremely and quite surprisingly pleased with the price. Extremely reasonable. I was told there are some theme evenings organised there regularly; I shall definitely give the next one a try so as to be able to report more on the subject.... !"
