"Well to drink a drink, but don't eat here it's frozen, sold at exorbitant prices. I took a crunch, sir with a salad. The last one was billed extra. 3€ for some green salad leaves. I thought I was in Paris when I saw the final score."

"We have dined at Le Jabron many times, and have found the food, the service and the ownerto be exceptional...what a lot of French small restaurants used to be....good quality foodmade from Scratch at a reasonable price.We had lunch last week, and at a modest price of $12.50 for a 3 course meal including Café!The appetizer was a selection on a small buffet of very freshly made salads, good quality charcuterie,and always something hot...last week it was a slice of fresh goat cheese on a bed of dried tomatoin a petite fold of thin crisp phyllo dough...I don't know how the chef got everything hot, crisp andnot drooling out of the pocket, but it was fabulous!!My husband had the sautéed Lamb...small tender rounds of lamb in a Mediterranean stylesauce that melted in your mouth....my Gratin of small cheese raviolis was in a dish filled withchunks of smokey salmon and a cream and tarragon sauce....I licked the plate clean!!Dessert was a Tiramisu and also an apricot clafouti...delicious...and then the requisite petite cup of strong café....we were stuffed and happy....hope to go back for dinner this week.The owner speaks very good English and is very friendly...good fast service at lunch, with a lotof the local contractors devouring their sumptuous lunchtime meal. We highly recommend thisrestaurant, and hope to see it remain for many years...there is nice outdoor dining in the summerand they have expanded their indoor lunch area, and upgraded the walls and lighting to a new"Moderne" décor..."
