Günter Rönner is the first to visit his restaurant “Pur – Essen Trinken” next year. Until recently, the chef in Duisburg had crowned dishes at the Hotel-Restaurant Akazienhof, where he received 16 out of 19.5 points from Gault-Millau, a renowned restaurant guide. Of course he brings the hoods to Krefeld and from March he creates different cultures in his kitchen. "We had arrived in Krefeld to go to the opera and wanted a light refreshment before it. There seemed to be nowhere open, but after a while we saw this place. My friends just had coffee, but I also had an Apfelstrudel with whipped cream. It was reasonable, but not nearly as good as Cafe Reichard in Cologne. There was no cinnamon on the top and vanilla sauce (custard to you or me) would have been better than the whipped cream which could have come out of a spray tin. It's hard to comment on the ambience since we were about the only people there at the time."

"The Oedingsche Pub 2010 has been under the new direction of the Marschmann Service UG since July 2022. After a few start difficulties, it's going well. The offer has been extended by several beers.
