"A casual pub style restaurant with a large variety of options on the menu - all of which sounded good. It concentrates on meat such as steak and schnitzel, pizzas, Flammkuchen (tarte flambé) and rösti (potato fritter). The food came quickly and the portions were large which was good as we were hungry! The food was good but nothing to rave home about. What dropped this from a 4 to 3* review though was that at the end of the meal they asked if everything was ok and my mum mentioned her dish was missing the mushrooms and had cheese on it which wasn't on the menu. Rather than apologising about this, the waiter insisted he saw mushrooms on the plate when he brought it out and said it comes with cheese but just doesn't say so on the menu...so much for the customer is always right!"

"Was in front of the hotel, which was not good on Tripadvisor for food. Luckily, this restaurant that is right on the street that is not good for the hotel!! Very friendly service with excellent food. Can highly recommend the effort to cross the road!! Very pleasant experience.."

"We were in konstanz for 2 weeks and went to this place 5 times, which should already tell you something. The food is truly great and the dishes are so well thought out and put together (without unnecessary fanciness). The atmosphere is also great. It has two seating areas; one of which feels like a beautiful and warm home kitchen, and the other area feels a little more fine dining but still casual. I think you'll definitely find yourself returning."
