"Freitag Abend, Weihnachtsmarkt in Bonn, Gute Stimmung und fröhliche Gesichter in Bonn. Denkste! In der Hopfenstube findet man den sozialen Bodensatz der Gesellschaft, angeführt vom Wirt und seiner in die Jahre gekommenen As(i)sistentin hinterm Tresen. Über die Preise kann ich keine Auskunft geben denn sobald der Laden etwas voller ist (eigentlich sonst immer nur 5 Leutchen drin) verliert er die Übersicht und leider auch die Beherrschung. Mit einem "Was machst du denn, und RAUS hier wurde man begrüßt. Kann sein, das dort Sparkasten-Leerung war oder einen andere geschlossene Gesellschaft, aber dann kan man Schilder an der Tür anbringen oder die Türe geschlossen halten. Fazit: Never Ever und Vorsicht bei dieser Kaschemme."

""Gut-bürgerliches-Restaurant" mit einer tollen Karte ("typische" einfache Gerichte, wie Jäger-, Wiener oder Zigeuner![findet man ja heute äußerst selten] -Schnitzel, Rump- und Filetsteak, Kalb, Suppen, Salate, Fisch, Saison-Gerichte und natürlich Bayerische "Schmankerl". Und das Ganze in einem vernünftigen, einfachen Deutsch geschrieben, ohne die heute meist üblichen "Gourmet-Floskeln" wie "an..., auf..." wobei man oft genug enttäuscht wird.Hier wird einfach und klar beschrieben, was es gibt. Die Portionen sind nicht riesig aber durchaus groß genug um RICHTIG SATT zu werden. Die Preise sind absolut seriös und gerechtfertigt.Wir hatten Rumpsteak mit Kräuterbutter, Bratkartoffeln und Salat und Rinderleber mit Röstzwiebeln, Äpfeln und Kartoffelpürree. Beides wirklich ein GENUSS!!! Frisch zubereitet, keine aufgewärmten oder im Massen vorbereiteten Beilagen, das Fleisch wirklich so wie's sein soll. Keine "Schnellküche" (wir haben gefühlte 20 min. auf's Essen gewartet - waren sehr früh da, kurz nach 11 - woran man schon merken konnte, dass hinter dem Ganzen eine richtige Restaurant-Küche steckt).Der "Service" ist aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Lokal macht einen sauberen Eindruck. Serviert wird drinnen und draußen.Wer lecker und auswahlreich essen will, Bodenständigkeit, faire Preise, guten Service liebt ohne Schnickschnack und "Gourmet-Tuerei" ist hier BESTENS aufgehoben. Meine ABSOLUTE Empfehlung für Gutes Essen in Bonn!!!"

"Some explain, is necessary for those who are not familiar with the outgoing traditions in Rhineland before they comment on this wine house. in Spain people often go into the bar and meet people who stand in hand with a tapa and a glass. in Great Britain the pub. has the same social meaning. in the Rhine area people go to the wine house and drink at the table, calm and slow, while they entertain with others. usually drink the local wee the opposite and also have a small snack. not to mix with a beerhouse that is usually bigger with many more people and novice. the little one is a wine house, small with cozyness, old house with old furniture, intimate. they go there late afternoon and enjoy the local wee while they accompany some tasting. take them a few friends, or just their partner and enjoy the evening in the wise as the Rhinelander does. they serve food in smaller portions, but they are tasty and sufficient to go with the wine. do not expect a fully flown restaurant. weather is allowed, there is also a charming garden with tables."
