"I don't know what a person with gluten intolerance did to the Barley's cooks in the past, but it had to have been bad based on the treatment on my gluten free pizza. Look, I get it, gluten free pizza is not going to be as good as wheaty delicious pizza... but eating it should not make you hate yourself. If frozen pizza from a Kroger is better you are doing something wrong."

"The crab cakes were too spicy for my own personal taste, but if you like a mild spice level, then you will like them. I am in my 50s and I really don 't like spicy foods like I did when I was younger. They were thoroughly cooked and presented well. I readthe description of the mashed potatoes but I missed somewhere that they would be covered in sort of a brown gravy or sauce. Ididn 't care for that. If I ordered them again I would just ask for them without that sauce. Other than that they were seasonedwell and they tasted good. My husband got the blackened pork chop. It was what you would expect with a blackened pork chop. Itwas cooked thoroughly yet it was not dry. I tried a bit of it and it was well seasoned. He had a sweet tea and he said it wasgood. I had a mixed drink. I believe it was called in good company and it was very similar to an Old Fashioned. It tastedgood. The place is very clean and the decor is very nice. The employees are very nice as well."

"This place is absolutely amazing! Honestly the best part of visiting Knoxville for us. The staff was so kind and actually greeted you when you walked in the door. I had a cold brew and my boyfriend had the iced white and black mocha. Much better thananything you can get at Starbucks or Dunkin? Donuts! We also got an assortment of macarons and chocolates and they weredelectable! I will definitely be visiting next time we come back. The store itself is a little small on the inside but they dohave outside seating a cute flowers hanging across as you walk in. Wish I could give them 6 starts!"

"Went for the first time today and so glad we did. Just walking inside was a cool experience with all the whiskey barrels everywhere. We were greeted and seated within a few seconds. After looking at the menu we decided to have the Oak Board charcuterie which was amazing especially the house made pimento cheese. For dessert we had the Apple Walnut Fontina. Omg it was so unique and so so good. We will definitely be returning to try some beer and other food. Thanks y’all."
