"As locals, we occasionally purchase take-away pizzas from Jack Loves Red to mix up our dining options. Our initial experience in this regard was very good. The quality was there in terms of taste and mixture, and the service attentive. recently, the service has...remained good but the quality of the take-away pizza has dropped significantly. Our last purchase was bland and little better than a budget offering from other companies. Not recommended under current arrangements"

"Usually amazing, but this time hubby got the wrong beer that was ordered, half a straw in my non existant alcohol mojito, half dry pork belly with rubbery skin, watery creamy mushroom sauce, bland meat and not chats chats... sorry guys ???? the steak was, however, cooked nicely, the oysters Kilpatrick were freaking awesome and the water and icecream was great!!"

"My wife and I get down to the Beach several times a year either with family or friends and always find this restaurant to be so consistent both in terms of the wonderful food and terrific service. Easy to understand why the restaurant is nearly always full. Has an extensive menu and caters for light snacks,entrees and main meals. Also a comprehensive range of beers and wine on offer.When our small group went there last week for lunch, we sampled more of the great food and service. Had a very pleasant lunch with the gnocchi ragout main being an absolute standout.......just delicious !!Take the fifteen minute drive down from Hobart to this very good restaurant..........you will not be disappointed. Certainly recommended !"
