"Awesome service! And usually all you can eat is cheap stuff. This might have been cheap, but you certainly couldn't tell. Awesome fish. Fast service. And definitely try the deep fried pickles!"

"Ordered a 0ne piece halibut for 20$. First the guy brings me fries only without the fish. He realizes his mistake, apologizes and goes back to the kitchen... which may be considered funny, so I'm not angry. Then he comes back with a piece of fish so tiny it's insulting, and certainly not worth the price or able to satisfy even a toddler's hunger. The fries are only half cooked. I wanted to say something but the sales girl was hanging out on the phone and was ignoring me, so I'm leaving a review, cause now I'm angry. I think employees should not get high at work no mattter the job. I'm done with the place and intend to never go there again. Waste of 20 bucks"

"This is hands down the best fish and chips place in Kelowna. Growing up at the ocean one develops an expectation that all fish should be fresh. This is unfortunately not the case in Canada. The fish here is always fresh. They have the fish to batter ratio dialled in perfectly. Most places often add way too much batter. The price point is unbeatable for Kelowna. Service is amazingly fast for such fresh fish. My go to is haddock."

"We decided we would go to Lord Chumley's instead of C-Food Lovers should of went to C-Food Lovers! We were going to have the special of the day but they were sold out so we had the two piece cod meal. My wife found a black hair in her coleslaw and told the waitress she didn't seem to concerned and asked if she wanted more coleslaw she said no I said bring her another piece as the fish was on top of the coleslaw and you can comp her meal and I will pay for mine. Went to pay the waitress said she couldn't comped her meal and giving her a piece of fish was good enough! I said I wasn't happy and I wanted to talk to the owner. Had to call her the next day.I talked to the owner Tracy she said her staff told her what happen and said I wanted both meals comped and that giving my wife a piece of fish was good enough! I told her that I was willing to pay for mine meal and was not pleased with the service we went out of our way to come to her place and not to C-Food Lovers as we had not been there for awhile and had been there many times over the years she said that was basically our choice. I told her that we had a similar thing happen at Kelly O'bryans and they comped the meal and gave us $20 in gift certificates and she said " Good for them"! She was basically sounded pissed of at me and I told her we will NEVER be back there again!On to the food cod was small portions the size of playing cards and fries were greasy.Place needs updating same look for the last 20 yrs."

"A secret gem in the Okanagan! Fresh seafood with incredible flavours and good portions. The oyster po’ boy was so light and crispy and was just perfect. The West Coast Stew was heavenly with the smoky tomato base and perfectly cooked seafood. The steamed clams (they were out of mussels) had my daughter raving about how delicious they were all through dinner. We will definitely be back! I should note that the restaurant is called The Broken Anchor now."
