"Always great food, sometime service can be slow but I say, don’t go for dinner if you are in a rush! My favourite part of Mr. Mikes is the very vast menu, so many creative items to choose from and so far haven’t been disappointed!! And even better with the great selection of drinks as well!! "We stayed at this hotel (Plaza) for 1 night and we had driven all day to get to Kamloops so sure didn't feel like driving again for a place to eat dinner. I had the tenderloin and my husband had the pork chop dinner. Both were excellent. Our server Carolyn recommended a BC VQA wine and it was lovely. The hotel had given us a coupon for a free dessert and the bread pudding was the only disappointment - while the portion was huge, it was slightly on the dry side and too sweet. Prices are standard for the meals ordered ($38 for 9oz tenderloin/$24 for pork chop - both with came BC fresh vegetables & several potato choices. Warm brioche to start was welcome."

"What a unfortunate experience. We're fairly passive, however the negatives kept building up. Firstly, we made a reservation for a specific booth and it was rather given to another couple just as we were arriving - despite our early arrival. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had, let alone of this "calibre" bar none, however to no fault to our delightful waitress at all, whom was obviously working incredibly hard to keep up with the unexpected crowd on a Sunday of a long weekend. The quality of food and appropriateness in which the manager on hand handled the situation to correct the issue was deplorable. The entrée was incredibly distasteful, not only did it arrive quite late, the lacklustre, thinly sliced piece of prime rib was actually cold and flavourless. They attempted to correct this by heating my exact same, entire plate, yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes and all. My plate arrived back extremely hot with the roast beef now entirely grey throughout and tough. Ten to fifteen minutes after sending it back for a second time - and my wife now 80% through her main (which was fine thankfully or else this would be a 1-star review) the manager on hand - Kevin, inappropriately took a seat in our booth and confrontationally requested that I tell him how to make things right. I placed the onus on him to make things right and he said my entire meal would be taken care of. When presented with the bill, I couldn't believe that they had the audaciousness to charge me for everything after such a terrible experience, from the bread - which wasn't asked for, to the starter salad and all, except for the the prime rib. I've frequented restaurants of lesser touted calibre to which did FAR more to correct their mistake(s) to which I would show my gratitude for their doing the right thing. We enjoyed going to Atlas before, however I don't believe we will be going back anytime soon, if ever now. What a shame."

"Superb food! Made from scratch. Amazing pie!! I can't imagine the level of education your head chef must have making food taste this excellent takes time and finesse as well as a lot of skill. The service was stellar and the view was fabulous on a great sunny day. My husband and I will be going back for sure!! Keep doing what you're doing."

"Steak house located in an old train station. The service was good and the atmosphere decent. I was surprised that it was fairly traditional steak offering on the menu especially based on the name. My order came wrong but it wasn't a big deal. Surprisingly they didn't know how to cook Chicago style. But again no biggie. Overall we enjoyed the food. It was decently prices and well made with good ingredients."
