"No frills take out kitchen. I was excited to try the oxtail but they did not have it on the menu. The smothered porkchops were out of this world, literally fall off the bone tender and flavorful. The Mac n cheese was average but good. The baked beans do not seem homemade, possibly canned and just doctored up. The salisbury steak was absolutely awful. Very bland and dry. My husband actually ended up finishing my pork chops because his was so bad. The service was also sub par. She was not friendly but also not rude....just going through the paces, without a smile or any kindness."

"My bf took me here for my birthday, which was pretty cool because neither of us had be here before. Beautiful views and a beautiful restaurant. We got the calamari appetizer,, which was not good. Flavor was amazing, but the calamari itself was overcooked and kind of had a freezer burnt taste. We both got salads, which were good. We also both got prime rib, which was amazing in flavor and the portion size was amazing. Our waitress, Bethany, was super sweet and made it a wonderful night."

"This is probably one of the best places in Jacksonville to eat. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. 7am-2pm. The food is incredible. I heard about it from people I work with but then also saw it on Guy's Diners, Drive In's and Dives. It's a small little building with just a row of booths and a few tables in the middle. Be prepared to wait. We got there at around 10:50am to wait for lunch and still had to wait about 15-20 minutes but it's worth it. The is completely affordable but bring an appetite. I shared with my 3 year old and still had a take out box overflowing with food to take home. The Pittsburgh salad and meatloaf are by far the best. The salad has french fries and blue cheese crumbles if that can tell you how amazing it is. I'm not a big meatloaf person but it was so moist but also had a little crunch. Plus the red mashed potatoes and the still warm french bread they serve with it. If they served dinner I would be back waiting in line. Want comfort food? Look no further than the amazing Metro diner. I can't wait to try breakfast and make sure to ask about the daily specials."

"I waited about an hour and a half to go a place to get the good I was walking around the neighborhood and visiting the other shops in the area it took another 45 minutes to get the food it took about 13 minutes to get from drinks after sitting very disappointed in the quality of the foods that it was cold and the noodles were boiled dough and cum together. We had them back, and when they brought us to the table, we were ready to go, and when we came home, the noodles were still cooked together and very bad taste and could not eat that a waste of $16 of rice was dry, I almost throttled on him and I got it to go I ruin it at home most after I put a little water on it"
