"A school cafeteria haiku: A la cart line, sub Line. Think of all the time you Spend in the lunch line. MAIN LUNCH LINE Great spicy chicken sandwiches, orange chicken, chicken noddle soup with mini corn dogs, cinnamon rolls, GREAT mashed potatoes, teriyaki beef dippers and the occasional Asian pear. A LA CARTE Amazing brownie and monster cookies. You can also find popsicles and ice cream bars. PIZZA Try the bosco sticks. You may even luck out and find popcorn chicken here. SUB Many different options, but the lunch meat is slimy. Go vegetarian here. SEATING Here's where it gets dicey. The cafeteria itself is a fairly unpleasant place to consume a meal. I'd opt for a safer, cleaner, option such as the floor of the hallway! On a nice day you can really step up your game by sitting in the courtyard. Or, if you're special, eat in the newsroom or with your favorite teacher."

"I was looking for a breakfast place in Iowa City and saw this diner. It was one of a few places open at 7:00 on Sunday. A young lady who worked hard to take care of many customers at once was immediately stopped and waited for. I sat at the counter and watched all the work and conversations between chefs and servers. I ordered the steak and eggs. That was the first time I ever had Steak with my breakfast. The order came very fast and was amazing. I am also a tea drinker and usually have difficulty finding good tea especially at Diners. Not only did they serve the tea in a very nice pot, you had choices of at least 4 teas. I give this place 5 stars for: Great food Great service Great atmosphere"
