"If you are visiting the Rhine valley, having dinner in a restaurant overlooking the river would be lovely. Yet, this was not the case with this restaurant. Nothing about this restaurant was bad, yet nothing was particularly special. The menu had limited choices. The portions were good, the presentation of the food nice, but nothing to remember and talk about it later. I took the fillet mignon (around 21 Euros). We were a large group of people (over 25 people), we showed up unexpected, they managed to accommodate us, but the menu choices ran out fast and the service was very slow. The staff was very friendly."

"Visited thrice in 3 days. First day, a Sunday was a herbfest. Looked like the theme was pumpkin and there was lots of happy people and music. The local wine Wasem Secco was good. Next two days was business. Food was good simple with a limited spread. Lasagna was great."

"Ok old and the Waldeck 's best time is long gone, we know that and we accept it. But what 's the point? Endless waiting times, bad service and unbelievable prices with really bad quality. Hand cheese with 4 FOUR slices of wild ham (each slice 8x6 cm) for almost 10 euros and it was just loveless! Asked the service briefly Yes, I know, many find it too expensive, but the boss says the ham makes up the price, but I also think it 's too expensive . Class! We used to like being here but that 's gone now."
