"We came to Banana Leaf on a Saturday afternoon for lunch in a group of three. The restaurant has a nice ambience and their decor is also very fitting. We ordered the Red duck curry, Pad Thai with chicken and Massamun curry with beef (with rice). Staff were all really friendly and service was relatively fast. Both the curries were sweet curries and had a nice consistency to them. They were both extremely enjoyable and the flavours worked really well together. The Pad Thai was also delicious and well presented. The serving portions at Banana Leaf are extremely generous and we had to end up taking away! "The food is just superb. The bugs were a standout with a delicious curry style sauce and coconut rice. The beef cheeks were tender. The barramundi and salmon were cooked perfectly and the combinations with the accompaniments were expertly put together. The food could not be faulted at all. They only had one cocktail on offer which was not nice, so they could improve by having a few options, they have a bar, and a drinks staff. The service was ok but not amazing, but you can forgive that for the great flavours!"

"I have been walking past this place ever since they were doing construction work. Being a newly opened cafe, the overall rating I give is 3.5-4 star. Staff are very polite, fast serving, food and drinks are good, particularly cold press juice, very fresh and tasty. Price is also reasonable. <br/>They tend to get very busy after 10am on the weekend, so either be there early or you’ll have to wait for a seat."

"This place has a pretty decent vegan menu, especially for the area. The vegan panini is delicious and the vegan burrito is quickly becoming my hangover-breakfast staple! It also doesn't hurt that the staff are always super friendly."
