"We went there for their crayfish offer of 15.99 for 3 pounds and we were NOT disappointed. The crayfish was amazing and fresh. The spices were amazing. We ordered also a stuffed Grouper and it was amazing, so tender and yummy. The crab legs were fantastic, extremely fresh and amazing with the butter sauce. Their boiled shrimp was great too specially when you dip it in that butter. Our server was very tentative and sweet. Smiling all the time and gave us everything we need and more. Greatly recommend."

"5/5 stars! Will eat again! Seriously, the closest thing to authentic Cajun outside of Louisiana. And great service. Everything tastes great and the employees are very friendly. I come for the delicious food, but I stay for Katie! (Or have I got the order confused again? PLEASE OPEN A TUSCALOOSA LOCATION!!!"

"They replaced my sides with 3 servings of potatoes instead of what I ordered and the food was very, very bland and unseasoned. The bourbon chicken was gristly and flavorless. This was my first and last time dining here.Food: 1/5"

"Delicious seafood!! Their mild sauce is delicious and serving sizes were great/filling! On weekends they have a live DJ who plays and it added to the lively atmosphere! Awesome staff and nice family place."

"Super slow service, inattentive staff. At one point it looks like the cook had to come o it and seat patrons because there was a wait to be seated and probably 60-70% of the tables were empty. My naked chicken “crispers” were soggy and wet to the touch. Won’t be coming back"

"I had the honey bbq wings and fries basket. It was fantastic. Emma, the bartender was amazing and very helpful. Make sure you see her. Very pleasant attitude. It was chill atmosphere and friendly feel with local owners. Different from chain restaurants. Makes you feel like you’re on Cheers the tv show……where everyone knows your name."

"My first visit there, but I had read the reviews and was a little sceptical. Yes, the decor was low budget plastic and the disposable plates were still the usual for Covid, but the food was very good. No better fried shrimp and oysters. Everything was cooked to order and hot from the fryer. I think some previous reviewers were expecting Captain D's prices for very good seafood. I will definitely be going back when I want good seafood."
