"I went there with my son for Mother's Day. I ordered the sesame chicken my son got sushi. Unfortunately they brought out my meal first and it was a good 1/2 hr before my son got his meal. I was already finished before he got to eat. They should of waited on my meal and brought them out together. Very disappointed. I won't return her for a long time. Food was excellent service terrible."

"We live in Hingham and have occasionally eaten at Zendo over the past few years. Our last meal was just OK, but with our son and his family in town, we decided to go there so he could get some sushi. We were seated promptly for our reservation, and they brought coloring books and crayons for the kids, but that was about the last thing that went right. It took 20 minutes for a glass of wine to appear, nearly 40 minutes for our appetizers to arrive, and the kids meals came out even later despite us making it clear we had a hungry 3 and 5 year old. Even after I complained to the manager, it still took another 20-30 minutes for the other sushi plate we ordered to arrive along with the our entrees. I won't bore you with the rest, but I guess that's why they still didn't have a full house at 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. We won't be returning again."

"An opening is planned for Jan 9. The soups and dumplings were great. The sesame chicken was too doughy for my taste. They took it back without any problems. I have the Kung Pao, who was delicious. Service can be immaculate as they work the kinks from this new place. It should be good until 9 January 2019. Menu is similar to Zendo the same setup) and they even keep the same cook!"

"I've all eaten through this pandemic. These people are heroes. The food is better than ever, and the precautions around the virus are on the point. I saw another critic who didn't vote on the antivirus. I force her to come back and check it out. Wait outside until the foyer is empty, go inside. I just saw people with masks and gloves."
