"I read the reviews here and rushed over to Stacks when I arrived in Hilton Head for a short getaway and was disappointed in the quality of the food. I love Pancakes and that is what I ordered but they were cold and had to be rewarmed. The tasted pretty standard nothing special. The service was not great and the restaurant itself was runned down and kinda dirty. The reviewers before me must have pretty low standards."

"Here's a GEM! From Guillermo to the top, until Alfred cook directly in front of you in an intimate environment, everything about this place is on site. Make sure and call for a table; they were all going into the way....last thing, get the Heilbutt special if offered. I've eaten wherever I go, and that was with the best up there. Very recommended!!!!"

"Although the web site says that the rooms have been updated, they must have skipped 937… broken toilet seat and toilet tissue holder, mildew smell, mildew on curtain. The room was serviced twice without me asking, the other 5 days I had to request housekeeping one day that meant having a bag of towels left on the floor. After writing to the general manager, I was told that they hope we visit again…. There are plenty of other places thank you. For the rates paid for an ocean front room, I expected much more from Marriott."

"Absolutely LOVED it! The restaurant just opened at the location where Jaxx used to be. The food was awesome! When we arrived we were greeted with the best french baguette I have had in quite some time and an impressive list of lunch specials. The menu includes appetizers, pasta dishes, sandwiches and Salad so much variety that I found myself struggling to pick. I settled on the Chopp Salad which was to die for. Finely minced lettuce accompanied with garbonzo beans, ham, salami, mozzarella and homemade dressing. Mom's Portobello Mushroom sandwich was perfectly marinated and the mushroom was as large as the roll. The majority of the dishes ranged from $8-$10. Can not wait to try it out for dinner. ALSO check out the island packet as you can occasionally find a buy 1 get 1 coupon to be used at lunch or dinner."
